It's easy to install a green wall panel in a garden. Most click together and have a series of hooks on the underside to enable you to nail, screw, or hang them to an exterior wall, fence, trellis, or balcony with ease.

Prepare the space

First, clean the wall or fence by brushing away any debris and carefully removing any moss. Make sure the wall or fence is completely dry.

Measure up and cut (as needed)

Measure the area and plan how you're going to install the green wall panels. For example, will you fit the panels horizontally or vertically? How much space will you leave between the wall panel and the floor?

Fit wall panel

Depending on the type of fastener you're using, follow the steps below to fit the wall panel to your wall or fence outside:

• Screws or nails: Drill the screws into the fence and hook the panel on, or nail/screw the panel in from the front, ensuring enough screws/nails are in place to secure the weight of the panel

• Hook and loop fasteners: Simply hook the fasteners over the top of the wall or fence and rest the wall panel on the hook (usually at 2-3 points, depending on how large or small the wall panel is)

• Adhesive: When the surface is completely dry and clean, apply adhesive liberally along the seams and around the edge of the wall panel, or the wall. Press it firmly and hold for several minutes.
